Darden Clean Energy Project
A 2,300 MW solar-plus-storage facility under construction on 9,500 acres in western Fresno County, California. The project pairs 1,150 MW of solar generation with up to 4,600 MWh of battery storage — among the largest battery energy storage systems in the world.
Built by Mortenson, the project will deliver clean energy to the California grid while creating roughly 2,000 construction jobs over the build period.
